America The Beautiful
A Win At Whistling Straits
On the shores of windy Lake Michigan, the United States brought the Ryder Cup home from Paris, and for the second time in three matches.
We arrived a couple days early and stayed in the nearby town of Sheboygan. Many of us are Midwesterners, and we felt right at home going to restaurants and meeting locals. There were plenty of excited conversations about the Cup on street corners and in cozy booths across the city.
The Cup began early on the morning of September 24th, with a first tee time of 7:05 a.m.. You can bet that we were there well before, keeping ourselves warm, and getting ready to cheer on the team.
Over the course of the next three days, we cheered for Team USA—the youngest team in its history—as they brought the Cup home, closing out with the largest margin of victory in the Cup since 1967.
