The American Marshals were formed while supporting the 2008 Ryder Cup at the Valhalla Golf Club. Europeans were wearing festive outfits and singing songs to their players and team on USA turf. This was not right and we felt something needed to be done. At that moment, the American Marshals were born.

We created songs and chants to support our team. Also, we interact with our USA players, caddies, coaches and fans to show our greatest support.

We believe in the 13th Man Creed and the associated sportsmanship. We follow the Creed, and ask all USA fans to support the American Marshals as we come together to return the Cup to the USA.

The American Marshals have traveled to, and supported, every Ryder Cup since Valhalla in 2008.

Traveling to Wales, Chicago, Scotland, Chaska, Paris, and Kohler, this year the Ryder Cup comes to Rome. The American Marshals will be attending various events leading up to the 2023 Ryder Cup. If you see us, show your support, and you'll be deputized!

Over the years of cheering on The U.S.A. Ryder Cup Team, The American Marshals have grown close with the U.S. Team Captains and have started a new tradition.

Every year, the Captain receives their very own American Marshals Jersey and set of horns that they can proudly wear in support of the team. We hope that by including them in our superfan spirit, it will help bring excitement and joy to the rest of the team.
